One of Marvel Comics’ four elemental kings, the Black Panther is both protector and king of his native Wakanda, the most advanced nation on earth in the Marvel Universe. T’Challa draws his heightened physical abilities and recovery by ingesting the heart-shaped herb, and harnesses the power of vibranium – a unique metal that like the plant that grants him his powers – can only be found in his native land. The Black Panther represents the element of earth.
